Prepare for birth with confidence through our comprehensive Group Birth & Hypnobirthing Class at Modern Childbirth Co. Led by Registered Midwife Donna, this evidence-based program provides you and your birth partner with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to approach birth feeling informed, supported, and empowered. Designed for all birth preferences and birth settings, this course combines childbirth education with Hypnobirthing Australia techniques to help you understand the physiology of labour, make informed decisions, and develop practical strategies to support a positive birth experience. The course is delivered across four engaging units: Unit 1: Creating & Maintaining a Positive Mindset Explores the mind-body connection, helping you build confidence, reduce fear, and prepare mentally and emotionally for birth. Unit 2: Our Toolkit for Birth Teaches practical techniques including breathing, relaxation, self-hypnosis, visualisation, movement, positioning, massage, and partner support to help you work with your body throughout labour. Unit 3: Preparation & Choices for Empowered Birthing Covers the stages of labour, birth physiology, informed decision-making, pain relief options, common interventions, communication with your care providers, and preparing for the early postnatal period. Unit 4: Birth – Bringing It All Together Combines everything you've learned, allowing you and your birth partner to practise your skills, create personalised birth preferences, and feel prepared for whatever path your birth may take. Whether you're planning a spontaneous birth, induction, or epidural, our goal is to equip you with the education, confidence, and practical tools to navigate your birth with calm, clarity, and confidence.

Modern Childbirth Co. Group Positive Birth Program – Terms & Conditions By booking a Group Positive Birth Program with Modern Childbirth Co., you agree to the following terms and conditions: Booking & Payment A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in a group class. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled class date. Bookings made within 7 days of the class require full payment at the time of booking. If full payment is not received by the due date, Modern Childbirth Co. reserves the right to offer your place to another participant. Minimum Participant Numbers Group classes require a minimum number of participants to proceed. If minimum numbers are not met, Modern Childbirth Co. reserves the right to reschedule the class. In this event, participants will be offered an alternative class date or, if no suitable date is available, a full refund of any payments made. Attendance Each booking includes attendance for the pregnant woman and one birth partner. Please arrive on time to ensure you receive the full benefit of the program. Cancellations & Rescheduling Deposits are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, please notify Modern Childbirth Co. as soon as possible. Where possible and subject to availability, your booking may be transferred to another group class. This cannot be guaranteed. If you go into labour or experience a medical complication before your scheduled class, please contact Modern Childbirth Co. as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to offer an alternative class date, private session or online option where appropriate. Course Content The Group Positive Birth Program provides evidence-based childbirth education to help you prepare for pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenthood.
